What does it mean by Average Spend Per Sale?

Average Spend Per Sale and is calculated by the Gross Sales divided by the number of transaction (sales)

What this means:  If for example, we had 2 customers made purchases today

Customer A spent £25

Customer B spent £18

Making a total Gross Sale of £43 from 2 customers

We divide the Gross Sale figure by the number of sales made.

£43 ÷ 2 = £21.5 Avg. Spend Per Sale for a given period
